Michelle had been a regular at Chicken Salad Chick for quite some time before becoming a member of the Chick family. Soon after realizing the opportunity, she decided to give her friend, Julie, a call. Since they had both started careers in sales and marketing before becoming stay-at-home moms, they decided to go for it. While Julie was a little reluctant at first, she quickly changed her mind after trying our chicken.

We had to wait again for the okay to the pilot to take off so we were on the runway for another 20 min. Overall, we were delayed over 2 hours which felt like 4 hours. I liked the piloting of the aircraft. Very disappointed about lack of electrical ports. Also, although a short flight. There was enough time to hand out snacks to comfort + seats as was done for first class.
Popular flights from Charlotte via Bermuda
The only feed back I can give that they don't do that American Airlines does is the crew there is more humorous with boarding and thank their passengers. It makes it more fun to fly with them. I would however fly Delta again. We know the destinations you'll be visiting and what there is to see, do and experience. We offer you a variety of excursions to choose from, in every port you'll visit. Looking for a quick getaway?

The gentleman taking care of us on our flight was so nice, accommodating, and attentive. He always was smiling and giving pins to the kids which made me smile. The flight was quick too and without turbulence. Thank you for the great flying experience. My poor kids were scared and couldn’t see me on the flight and the crew wasn’t sensitive to the situation and what the airlines did to us. Very dissatisfied with United airlines.

It's all good, because with Norwegian you're free to vacation on your schedule, not ours. Flight was cancelled due to the weather in the east and sout east(florida). Did not get any compesation of any kind. According to them, it was not under their control so I lost all the money paid for the 2 fairs from Raleigh, NC to Orlando, Fl. Loved that there was WiFi on flight to keep in touch and excellent service of beverages and snacks.

You do not have a space for flight cancelled. Air Canada handled it great. Was booked on another airline for the next day.

Only thing that could have been better was to have cranberry juice. Women like this as it helps avoid UTI’s and not as sweet as other juices. Sort of wasted our first day of vacation. We left Pittsburgh at 630am and did not arrive in Mexico until late dinner time. Generally good but we were delayed almost two hours from the original time of purchase. The pilot claimed an internal issue then an external equipment issue that needed to be adddressed.
Three out of five surrounding my family did not work. The seats and spaces under them were so small I could not fit my backpack, which I’ve always brought on flights and fit before no problem. The crew were unpleasant and patronizing. Currently, there is only one airline operating non-stop flights from Charlotte CLT to Bermuda BDA, which is American Airlines.

We have Kabul House cater parties big and small for us and they have always been excellent. Fantastic food with generous portions! The server team was attentive and helpful with recommendations. Takeout is great and the interior is lovely. There is lots of space for dining and they seem to get busiest later in the evening.

As a producer, my partner and I book people for our productions sometimes. You can look at their Twitter, and usually in their bio they’ll say that they’re self-booking, or contact my agent. You can see their tweets, see if they’ve been having any meltdowns or rants. People will say anything online, and it kind of gives you a feel of what the person’s personality is like.

In some, alas many, marriages, the hierarchy between what Sartre called the Lover and the Beloved allows the beloved to ignore the moods, meanings, and connections of the lover, who must suffer in silence at not mattering much or must express that suffering in symptoms. If you win best scene, you and your scene partners and the company win the award. For mine, it was me, Tommy Pistol and a puppet—and I think the woman who voiced the puppet won the award, because the puppet wasn’t there to pick it up (laughs). People may pretend to themselves that they do not have the freedom to make choices by pursuing pragmatic concerns and adopting social roles and value systems that are alien to their nature as conscious human beings.

They just make it a big pain in the butt. Also, the lower cost of living [in Las Vegas] doesn’t hurt. You still have the public thinking everyone is Jenna Jameson and we’re all millionaires, when really we make pretty average incomes. I always have seen myself being a hands-on type of person. If I wasn’t doing this I’d be a taxidermist or a hazmat removal person where I have my hands in the muck, which is just where I like to be.
Las Vegas Weekly: Photos You Didn't See From 2023
It turns out that I already had skills for nuanced listening with my life partner. We can tell when the other person is promoting a different version of themselves, and whether this performance is defensive or experimenting with a new way of being. We can tease each other about our foibles partly because there’s an envelope of affection that the content comes in, but also because we can count on the other person to detect that the teasing is affectionate. We both have extremely sensitive antennae for picking up cues that a story contains a hidden complaint, and we are both quick to wonder if we have done something wrong to occasion it. After 40 years of clinical work, I seem to be pretty good at picking up nuances in the things clients say to therapists on the DVDs I watch with supervisees.
There’s no game of telephone, there’s no room for miscommunication and I don’t have to give a percentage of my check to anybody. I feel if I’m sucking 100 percent of the dick or vagina or whatever, why do I have to give somebody 10 or 15 percent of my check? If you can answer the phone or an email, have a Twitter and know how to use a calendar, you really don’t need an agent in my opinion, but for some people it’s really beneficial.

Goth Charlotte because I was trying to find a username and Charlotte Sartre was taken everywhere. Usually people who recognize me in the grocery store or at the airport call me by [Goth Charlotte] because it’s easier to pronounce. A lot of people have asked me, is that a play on Good Charlotte? Literally I have never heard a Good Charlotte song. I went to school for a little bit and studied accounting and taxation in college.
Charlotte Sartre related content only.
What do you think it will take to get there? I think the performers have to take it into their own hands. What do you think allowed you to grow your audience so fast? I believe in the early 2000s and ’90s, when social media wasn’t as prevalent as it is today, agents were more of a necessity.
Sartre on Bad Faith
Some of your friends probably follow her on Twitter. One example of bad faith that Sartre gives is that of a waiter who does his best to conform to everything that a waiter should be. For Sartre, the waiter's exaggerated behaviour is evidence that he is play-acting at being a waiter, an automaton whose essence is to be a waiter. However, in order to play-act at being a waiter, the waiter must at some level be aware that he is not in fact a waiter, but a conscious human being who is deceiving himself that he is a waiter. Besides reflecting generally on the parallels between a healthy marriage and psychotherapy, I am specifically noting how the nuanced listening in marriage develops out of the knowledge that your spouse’s moods, hidden agendas, and varying ways of connecting with you matter to you. You need to know what’s up with your spouse because your own well-being depends on it.
I discovered there were sex-positive, feminist porn stars like Stoya and Sasha Grey, and they were also petite brunettes versus the tan, big-boobed, blonde trope that I kind of thought was the end-all, be-all of porn. I was like, wow, these ladies are super cool and comfortable with themselves, and they’re presenting themselves sexually on their own terms—kind of reclaiming their sexuality. Charlotte Sartre—also known as Goth Charlotte—is one of Vegas’ fastest-rising porn stars. At 24 years old, the tattooed and soft-spoken Northern California native has captured the attention of all genders for her inclusive yet intense scenes, and she just won this year’s AVN award for most outrageous scene.
I think it gives them a sense of moral superiority. And I think because the public shames porn as a whole, we’ve got this evolution in the way it’s consumed to where most people have never paid for porn a day in their lives, so they think, “Oh, well, if it’s not good enough for me to pay for, why should I respect the people who make it? ” You see that with the music industry and movies; people are like, oh, I’ll just torrent it.” People don’t see the direct correlation between money and performers getting paid. But none of those TV commercials, news stories, or friends’ work updates were about me. I had developed with patients the technical skill of reflective listening but not the clinical skill of “getting” it.
I think what people like about me is I post about my cats or, “I’m going to do this today,” or I post about spiders. When I was doing a lot of taxidermy I’d post about that, or when I was studying accounting I’d post about that, so people got to see me being a normal, multifaceted person. Also, MyFreeCams hosted most of the awards, which is a great cam site if you’re a cis female, but if you’re a trans performer or a man—basically anybody with a penis—you’re not allowed on MyFreeCams. So it’s a lot of posturing and peacocking to appear more inclusive, but as an industry we still have a long way to go. Is the porn industry moving on from Southern California to Las Vegas? In LA County you have Measure B, which is the mandatory condom law.
I like to think of myself as an outrageous person so I thought it was really fitting. How has social media helped you grow your fanbase? One thing that gave me a slight advantage was I kept my same Twitter and Instagram from when I was in high school.

Below, we'll break down what luxury Alaskan cruises are, which lines offer them and what sets the offerings of those lines apart from what you'll find with more mainstream lines. With lots of outdoor activities and great wildlife sightings, an Alaska cruise is ideal for kids, and not surprisingly, no one does it better for them than Disney. Little ones will be just as happy to see Goofy as they are to see a glacier, making this the best cruise for kids.
Best for multigenerational groups: Discovery Princess
Consider your priorities and preferences when comparing the facilities and services. Are you looking for a cruise line that prioritizes family-friendly activities and entertainment? By understanding what matters most to you, you can make an informed decision and choose the cruise line that offers the features and services that align with your desires.
Going Solo to Alaska
Carnival, Disney Cruise Line, Norwegian, Princess and Royal Caribbean all have extensive kids clubs aboard their ships that cater to all ages, from babies to teens. Little kids will adore meet-and-greets with beloved characters onboard Disney cruises or hanging with Dr. Seuss characters when sailing with Carnival. Older kids will love the rock climbing walls, video game stations, sports courts, go-karts and laser tag on Royal Caribbean and NCL ships.
Night Alaska ExplorerDetails
Everyone can come back together for dinner and evening entertainment or onboard activities suitable for all ages. Whether you want to try a luxury small ship cruise to Alaska, or you want the fun and features of a mid-size ship from the likes of Carnival, Royal Caribbean or NCL, there are some fantastic options available. Choose this ship if your priority is to relax, and you don’t need an extensive daily schedule while cruising between ports. Choose this ship if you’re a younger traveller or couple who wants plenty of bars and evening entertainment while on your cruise to Alaska.
Another veteran of Alaskan sailings, Princess Cruises has been navigating these waters for over 50 years. But one of the biggest perks of cruising with Princess is the Alaska Lodges they provide with their land tours. These 5 lodges and hotels are strategically located near the best attractions in Alaska in places like Fairbanks, Mt. McKinley, Kenai, Copper River and Denali National Park. If you prefer a more traditional cruise style that is laid back and full of seasoned travelers this may be the cruise line for you. Below are the best Alaska cruises and cruise lines for every type of traveler. Your cruise ship will spend 9-10 hours in Glacier Bay, during which a park ranger will be onboard to offer insights and answer question along the way.
The vast majority of sailings, particularly those along the Inside Passage (the island-filled coastal waterway in the southeast portion of the state), occur somewhere between Memorial Day and Labor Day. That being said, there are some shoulder-season departures in April, May, September, and October. Viking Orion guests will feel the line’s drive to explore upon stepping aboard this 930-passenger ship that treats adventurous-minded travelers to global cuisine with several Norwegian delicacies (a nod to the line's Nordic roots). When it comes time to unwind, there are plenty of places to laze away and soak up the scenery -- all while enjoying the many perks that are included in your cruise fare. Silver Muse in Alaska will feel more like they're on a five-star hotel than a cruise ship.
Sail into the Last Frontier from Seward or Vancouver onboard Radiance of the Seas®. With over three acres of windows and glass exterior viewing elevators, you can watch for whales along Alaska’s Inside Passage when you aren’t wandering wilderness paths from Ketchikan to Juneau. And for the ultimate outdoor adventure, take a CruiseTour into Alaska’s interior where you can hang with huskies in Denali, and scale glaciers in Alyeska. Families with a little more vacation time might want to tack a visit to the Alaskan interior before or after their cruise, either independently or with a cruisetour. For this, you'll need a one-way cruise that begins or ends in an Alaskan port. The 3,998-passenger ship is NCL's biggest, and families will be amazed at how much there is to do on board (though be prepared to pull out your credit card for the best activities).
Best for families
Whether you're a history buff or a nature nut, there are numerous bucket list destinations to experience while traveling on your Alaska cruise vacation. Suppose your family isn't into the big-ship lifestyle and wants a small-ship, off-the-beaten-path experience that's also geared toward families with kids and teens? In that case, the best family cruise to Alaska for you might be the "Kids in Nature" departures of UnCruise Adventures' 86-passenger Wilderness Legacy. It sails round-trip from Seattle and visits Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Victoria, BC, with scenic cruising in Tracy Arm Fjord.
Viking Ocean Cruises offers a distinctive approach to Alaska cruising with its small, expedition-style ships. With a focus on exploration and cultural immersion, Viking provides an intimate and enriching experience for travelers seeking a deeper connection with the Last Frontier. In addition to its gourmet offerings, Oceania Cruises also provides enriching onboard activities and immersive shore excursions. Passengers can participate in cooking classes, art workshops, and even attend lectures by destination experts, enhancing their understanding of the region’s history, wildlife, and culture. While Holland America draws some families with younger children, the passengers on its ships skew heavily toward middle-aged and older travelers, including many retirees.
The ship and her 84 guests will be the only cruise ship in Glacier Bay National Park. Whale watching, farm-to-table meals, snowshoe and cross-country skiing, and heli-ski excursions are also on the schedule. A third excellent option is the destination-focused itineraries aboard select Celebrity Cruises ships. Again, this option is based less on the ship-based entertainment and more on the ‘learn about and experience Alaska’ approach.
Guests can explore the small fishing town of Petersburg or search for orca and humpback whales in Frederick Sound. Lindblad has special permits to bring passengers into the wilderness of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve and the Tongass National Forest, beyond what the big ships can offer. A hike on Chichagof Island is the perfect opportunity to spot bald eagles in the wild. While the kids enjoy Discovery Princess' spacious children's and teens' clubs, the adults might linger over a craft cocktail or enjoy a massage in the onboard spa.
Holland America offers sailings to Alaska on 7 different cruise ships which range in size from the 1,400 passenger Zaandam to the Pinnacle-class Nieuw Amsterdam which holds 2,600 passengers. Take the kids on a weeklong exploration of the 49th State, and you'll have plenty of cruise ships and itineraries to choose from. The best Alaska cruises for families combine action-packed itineraries with vessels designed for family fun, but we're sure your family can find a way to have a great time up north no matter which cruise ship you choose. This is especially crucial if you're traveling in Alaska's shoulder season — May and September. Likewise, September marks the end of the summer season and welcomes cooler temperatures and more rainfall. Because you'll be spending a lot of time outdoors, it's important to prepare for all weather scenarios, including windy conditions common to sailing cruise ships.
Don't pass up an opportunity to watch these giants feed and play in the water. In some parts of the state, dog sledding is still the primary mode of transportation through the winter months. Visit Alaska and get the experience for yourself at the Skagway Yukon Discovery and Dog Sled Tour. Exploring the interior of Alaska will give you an entirely different perspective on this vast and rugged state. Take an Inside Passage cruise and gaze upward at the sky that is as blue as the lakes below.
As one of the pioneers of Alaskan cruising, Princess offers an immersive journey into the heart of the wilderness. With their expert naturalist guides, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the local wildlife and ecosystems. Princess Cruises also offers a variety of shore excursions, allowing you to explore the Alaskan landscape up close and personal. An Alaska cruise is such a popular bucket-list item because it’s one of the best ways to immerse yourself in some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Not only will you get to see breathtaking glaciers closer than you ever dreamed, but you’re also likely to see eagles soaring and whales spouting—often from the deck of your ship. The best Alaska cruises give you an opportunity to explore the Far North from both land and sea, and we’ve got cruise tips to help you optimize your time and your budget.
Passengers can relax in luxurious surroundings while enjoying stunning vistas of glaciers, fjords, and coastal landscapes. One of the standout features of Oceania Cruises is its focus on culinary excellence. The cruise line is known for its world-class dining options, with renowned chefs crafting delectable dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Food lovers can indulge in a variety of culinary experiences that showcase the flavors of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. That'll depend on your personal interests and travel style because there are cruises from Seattle that appeal to everyone, including family travelers, budget travelers and retirees. The top decks of Holland America vessels, notably, lack many of the kid-focused attractions found on the top decks of more family-focused ships operated by the likes of Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Norwegian.
To participate in this speedy activity, it is an additional cost, $15 for adults and $15 for children. Cruise ships are typically measured using gross tonnage(GT), a measure of a vessel’s internal volume. The Unlimited Open Bar Package costs $109 per person per day and includes cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine under $15, and six liter-sized cartons of water per stateroom. It does not include room service, bottled water, fresh juices, specialty coffee, or Starbucks.
Some Norwegian Escape highlights
When it comes to amenities, [Name of the Ship] leaves no stone unturned. Passengers can indulge in various activities and entertainment options without ever leaving the ship. The ship features multiple pools and hot tubs, perfect for lounging and soaking up the sun. There are also expansive sun decks where guests can relax in luxurious loungers and enjoy panoramic views of the ocean.
Key cruising tips
Contemporary artwork and light installations jazz up public areas. However, there is a bounty of choice and flexibility when it comes to food and beverage. It has hopped onto trends like craft beer; the District Brew House has around 20 draft beers on tap and 50 different bottled.
What Is the Dress Code at the Connoisseur Club?
Like other Breakaway Plus ships, Norwegian Bliss offers a wealth of dining options and entertainment spaces. Norwegian Encore is also the setting for one of the biggest go-kart racing tracks at sea. The racecourse also features a middle-of-the-track observation area where your family and friends can cheer you on to victory — and even shoot you with "lasers" that'll give you a boost of power.

Additionally, Norwegian Encore offers big-name shows in big, state-of-the-art theaters; a sprawling spa; a casino that fills half a deck; a dedicated children's play zone; and more than 2,000 rooms. To ensure you end up on the right Norwegian Cruise Line ship for you, it pays to understand which Norwegian Cruise Line ships are the biggest and which are the smallest before booking. The smallest Norwegian Cruise Line ships are best for vacationers who like a less crowded, more intimate resort experience. Check out our size guide from biggest Norwegian Cruise ship to smallest. Below we've listed all Norwegian Ships by size, including a bit more info.

Clean lines, elegant furniture, minimal decoration, and deck 16 ocean views make this an easy place to sit and enjoy despite the bustle. Upending convention, the ship does not have a poolside pizza or burger joint, so this is the place for casual eats al fresco. Some may wonder why they are ordering through a tablet or lamenting the loss of the conviviality you experience through set dining. Encore is a crowd pleaser, but those crowds are vying for the same limited seats, loungers, and reservations you are. Encore is for couples, families, kids, groups, and even solo travelers.
We're measuring Norwegian ships size using the metric, "Gross Tonnage." This always causes a bit of confusion amongst our community members. The definition is technical and boring, but we'll provide it anyway. The cost of a Norwegian cruise isn't directly correlated with size. You won't necessarily pay less for the largest NCL ship vs the smallest. The first NCL ship that was built specifically for NCLs (versus being built for another cruise line before being transferred over to NCL) was Norwegian Jewel. Built by Lloyd Werft in Germany, Norwegian Sun was the last Sun-class ship.
[Name of the Ship] offers a range of itineraries that span the globe, allowing passengers to choose their dream destination. Whether you’re looking for a sun-soaked Caribbean getaway, a cultural exploration of Europe, or an awe-inspiring Alaskan adventure, there is an itinerary that will suit your interests and desires. The itinerary and destinations offered by [Name of the Ship] are carefully crafted to provide passengers with an unforgettable journey, exploring the world’s most breathtaking destinations. From stunning tropical paradises to historical landmarks and natural wonders, this ship takes you on a voyage of discovery and adventure. While the ship itself is a captivating destination, [Name of the Ship] offers an extensive range of itineraries and destinations to explore.
You might be wondering which Norwegian Cruise Line ships is the biggest one you can sail on. Another way that Encore upends conventions is that most specialty dining is paid for a la carte or through dining packages rather than a cover charge. Buying a dining package obviously makes sense if you intend on eating at a specialty restaurant more than once or twice.
At full capacity, the Norwegian Pride of America holds 3,280 passengers. The Norwegian Pride of America total number of staterooms is 1,094. Cruise Ship Png Images
Unlike giant cruise ships that can have as many as 5,000 passengers, PNGs offer a more relaxed atmosphere, personalized service, and exclusive access to remote destinations, which large ships cannot reach. What makes PNGs unique is their size. They are small enough to sail through narrow channels and shallow waters, getting closer to the coastline and shore, where large ships cannot go. This gives passengers the opportunity to explore remote destinations that are untouched by tourist crowds, including unexplored beaches, small villages, and secluded bays. The PNG experience is all about getting off the beaten path and discovering new and exciting places that are not accessible to the masses.Another major benefit of PNG cruises is the level of personal service passengers receive. With only a few cabins on board, the crew-to-guest ratio is high, ensuring that every guest is given individual attention and customized service. The personalized touch and attention to detail are what truly sets PNG cruises apart from traditional cruises. When it comes to PNG cruises, the destinations and itineraries are unique and varied, offering a diverse range of experiences.
